One of D Mag's "100 Most Expensive Homes in Dallas" in 2005 - Impressive English Estate in Upscale Dallas

Here is prominent lawyer Michael Scott Anderson's exclusive English estate in Highland Park off Lennox Lane.  The hidden 15,611 sq. foot main living house and grounds were featured in D Magazine's "100 Most Expensive Homes in Dallas" in the 2005 edition.  Once then appraised at $5,400,000, the 2010 appraisal was $7,622,000, a nearly $2.2 million dollar leap in 5 years.

The estate features a private pond with flourishing landscape hiding the home from rubberneck drivers, like myself (occasionally).  Built in 1998, the home includes 6 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, 6 fireplaces, and a 7 car garage, 5 bays attached with adjoining porte cochere and a detached 2 bays.  The back includes another private pond, pool, and what appears to be a 2 hole golf course - yes, all in the back.  Wonder if he has ever hit golf balls over into his back neighbor's estate on Strait Lane...
